The Ford Motor Company or ‘Ford’ is an American multinational automaker headquartered in Michigan United States. The Company was founded in 1903 by Henry Ford. Ford deals in the automobile industry. The company manufactures and distributes vehicles and accessories and parts around the globe. The company is traded on New York stock Exchange (NYSE) with the symbol F and ford has the current Stock price of $15.24 and has the market capitalization of $65 billion. The company has strong brand equity and has been ranked 44 in the most valuable brands list in the year 2013.The company operates through two units, which are automotive and its Financial Services. The Automotive unit offers auto motives ranging from cars, trucks and the service parts and accessories for the automotive. The company provides these products across the globe and has a very strong brand image worldwide in providing reliable and luxury cars to the consumers. The company also provides the maintenance and repairs services for the automotive.  Ford automotive has sold fewer than two brand names, i.e. Ford and Lincoln. The financial unit offers the services to finance the auto motives sold by the company. This unit offers financing products through its automotive dealers.
